The next course on the list is the current host of the NCAA Golf Championships for both men's and women's teams. Grayhawk Golf Club is an absolutely incredible golf course located in Scottsdale, AZ. It's a stunning desert golf course with an incredible layout and kept in impeccable shape. The course is a tough test of golf and is one of the hardest desert golf courses I have ever seen or played. Typically desert golf courses allow for people to score very well, but this golf course makes a difficult for every golfer to play well with the distance they play the course and the strategic hazards and traps the course puts into play to trip up even the best golfers into making big numbers and facing tough tests. The course sets up great for the NCAA Golf Championships for some of the best golfers to put on display the talent they have on this golf course. It is a great match play and stroke play course because the course can be rearranged by where the tees are put to make more holes a risk or reward-type hole. The course also has a cool finishing stretch because since it is a desert-style golf course there is not much water, but on the final hole of the course, as seen in the photo above, there is a dangerous body of water that comes into play off the tee and test the accuracy of all golfers who come to play it. The course also has a cool feature where holes 7 and 18 can be played as par 5's or long and difficult par 4's depending on the skill level of the player playing the hole.

The course has phenomenal practice facilities and it has the feel of a PGA Tour-like golf venue. The practice area is a great place to hone your skills and get practice on greens and grass which is in great shape to prepare you for the beautiful course and the courses you may play in the future. 

Grayhawk is also known to all golfers that play it for its hospitality and food. They serve great food at Grayhawk and they have many places to sit and eat and enjoy the Arizona sun and the beauty of the course. They are also known a lot for the delicious milkshakes that many players at tournaments out there have during the course of their stay.

 Spanish Oaks Golf Club     The next course I will talk about on the blog is Spanish Oaks Golf Club in Austin, TX. This is the course I grew up on and what really gave me a love for golf courses at a young age. This is by far one of the most fun golf courses I have played with the way that it is designed. The course is set up for difficult tee shots to the eye, but if you can place it in the fairway and see the whole for the way that it is then you can score well and compete out there. A lot of the holes require you to be creative off the tee and see the whole not only for what it is, but what it can be. This is because the holes out there can be played from various spots on the hole and there is no one way to get it right. On top of the off-the-tee shots, the par 3's are designed to perfection and have such a beautiful layout with most of them having water to cover to get to the green.  The Plantation Golf Club The Plantation Golf Club     The Plantation Golf Club is located in La Quinta, California. This is one of the coolest experiences I have ever had at a golf course. This golf is an all-men's club so it is very exclusive and a lot of celebrities have played it. Michael Jordan and Phil Mickelson are 2 famous names to have played and Phil even has the course record. The coolest part about the course though, other than how pretty it is, is that they don't want anybody using their phones a lot out there and it is all about experiencing the course for yourself.     The course itself is a magnificent work of art and is a phenomenal example of architectural design. It is lined by palm trees on nearly every single hole and multiple holes that provide risk-reward shots over water making it inviting, but dangerous at the same time to go for it.
